Ed Heiser has called the Southeast Valley home for most of his life — he watched San Tan Valley turn from open desert into the neighborhoods buyers compete for today. He earned his real estate license in 1987 while attending Arizona State University, and in 2002 he added a mortgage license on top of it. Today he's a Realtor with eXp Realty and a Mortgage Loan Officer with LendSmart Mortgage — one of the few agents in the Southeast Valley who can walk you through your financing and your home search in the same conversation.

Before real estate, Ed served in the U.S. Army as Military Police, including a stint providing personal security for a Lieutenant General, and in the Arizona National Guard as an artillery gunner. He then spent years as a Pinal County Deputy Sheriff — SCUBA search-and-recovery diver, Field Training Officer, background investigator, EMT, and instructor at the police academy. That instructor thread never stopped: Ed is now an AZ DRE Certified CE Instructor, teaching other agents the business he's spent nearly 40 years mastering.

Ed holds his GRI and ABR designations, along with nine additional certifications including RREDS (Residential Real Estate Divorce Specialist), RENE, PSA, and SFR. He's a Top Ten Percent producer and Million Dollar Club member who has served more than 1,000 clients — including three generations of a single Southeast Valley family who've bought, sold, and refinanced through him.

As a veteran himself, Ed has a particular passion for helping fellow veterans navigate the VA loan process — not just the paperwork, but the real understanding that comes from having worn the uniform. Outside of work, Ed is a father of two married children and grandfather four times over. He's a rockhound, fisherman, and outdoorsman who volunteers with the Boy Scouts and his church, where he's taught Sunday School for years. He and his son grow chile peppers and turn them into hot sauce together.
